IST PLACE: GINA R. – “Baby Blessing”

I ask the Gods

To bless this child.

Grant them wisdom

And temperament mild.

A life full of love

And spiritual wealth.

May they never know hunger,

And have good health.

Mighty God and Gentle Goddess

Please oversee this child’s progress.

2ND PLACE: FRANCES P. – “Spell To Summon Endless Peanut Butter”

Peanut butter, peanut butter, hear my plea,

Smooth and creamy, come to me.

Crunchy too, tried and true,

I call for a jar (or maybe two!).

Peanut butter, peanut butter, no fuss or fight,

With jam and bread, you bring delight.

A simple pleasure, a treasure divine,

Let your presence always be mine.

Peanut butter, peanut butter, my daily cheer,

With each bite, bring comfort near.

Day or night, you’re my heart’s desire,

I summon you now—spread and inspire!

Instructions:

1. Hold a butter knife in hand as you recite the spell.

2. Visualize a bounty of peanut butter filling your kitchen.

3. Spread some on bread, savoring each bite, and enjoy the abundance summoned into your life!

3RD PLACE: JASMINE O. – “Bringing Autumn Faster To Your Town”

For bringing autumn faster to your town. Best used while singing in a circle of deciduous trees, holding a burning candle in the right hand and nine acorns in the left.

“When the winds of fall

Answer to the summer call

And the breeze of winter awaits its turn

Behind the yellow-red leaves that burn

Answer me by writing

In the great wide open lands

With gourds and ghouls and ghosts aplenty

And I shall take your hand.”
